1. Extended Absences & Vacations: In the event that your child(ren) will be out of school for an extended absence or vacation, please contact BOTH your child’s teacher and Penny or Dee in the front office. Their email addresses are dhastings@nrsd.org and ptaintor@nrsd.org. As a reminder, vacations are not excused absences and illnesses can only be excused with a doctor’s note. We highly encourage students to be in school everyday. Attendance counts!
2. TES PTO: The next will be held in the TES cafeteria on Tuesday, February 4th at 5pm. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
3. Social Emotional Survey for Families: It is that time of the year where we will be sending out our mid-year social emotional survey. We wanted to take this opportunity to let you know to be on the lookout for an email in your inbox from the sender, Edumetrisis. It is a survey for you to fill out about your child/children. This information is extremely important and we encourage every family to complete the survey in order to best identify students in need of additional support in school.
4. NRHS Theater Guild: The Theater Guild is hosting a character breakfast to go along with the musical, The Little Mermaid. Please refer to this flyer for more information.
5. Harlem Wizards: Harlem Wizards tickets are still available!
The game is on Thursday, January 30th at 7:00 pm and tickets are going fast!
