1.TES Literacy and Digital Media Center Update: We are excited to announce the return of the library! Starting in January, students will be able to check out books. Here are the guidelines:

• Books will be checked out with a 2 week return date.

• Students have a card with a stamped return date with their book(s).

• The return card needs to be returned with the book.

• No new books will be lent out until others are returned.

2. Attendance Letters: Attendance letters for the month of December will be sent to all families who have a student with 5 or more unexcused absences. This letter is in no way intended to be disciplinary but serves as an update and a reminder to provide us with any documentation that may excuse any of these absences. There are some cases of extreme absences where we may ask to meet so that we can assist you in any way possible.

3. Half-Day and No School: There will be a HALF-DAY of school on Friday, January 10th for Staff Professional Development and NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

4. Free Throw Championship: On Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00pm, the Knights of Columbus is sponsoring a Free Throw Championship at the YMCA in Winchendon. This event is for boys and girls, ages 9-14.  Please contact the Otter River Council #2536 for more information.   

5. Harlem Wizards: The Harlem Wizards are coming back to play basketball against the NRSD Staff Team in a fun-filled community event on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 7:00pm in the Narragansett Regional High School gymnasium. Tickets for this event go on sale beginning Monday, November 25, 2024 at 8:00am. Use the following link to purchase tickets: https://www.harlemwizards.com/tickets/baldwinville.
