Dear Templeton Elementary School Students and Families,
We are so very excited to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! Every year at TES we strive to focus on making connections, lasting friendships and having lots of fun learning!
By now, you should have received a welcome letter from your child’s classroom teacher(s). Welcome letters are only mailed to the STUDENT ADDRESS listed in our data system. If you did not receive a letter, please email ptaintor@nrsd.org or dhastings@nrsd.org. Over the next week or two we will be sending out reminders and updates as well as posting to our Facebook page and to the website. In July, we emailed information in what is called the “TES High 5”, this will be our way of communicating with you weekly regarding updates and reminders. If you did not see this in your email inbox, please check your spam folder. Please be sure to follow the TES Facebook page as well! Supply lists can be found on the NRSD website, Facebook and in the last High Five.
We would like to welcome and introduce new members to our TES Team: Megan Wheeler, Melissa Paquette, Sarah Jacques and Dominique Marchand have joined the 4th grade. Kayleigh Wante is new to the 3rd grade team. Kiel Storm is our new School Psychologist. Bonnie Marcil, Rebekah Dembek, Cindy Beauregard, and Jennifer Dexter have joined our team of paraprofessionals. Meghan LaFreniere is our new nurse for Grades 2-4 and Suzanne Shaw will be our new Special Education Team Chair & 504 Coordinator. In addition, Jodi Kirby has moved from Grade 4 to our new Digital Literacy Unified Arts position.
Information regarding bus routes is now available at www.nrsd.org . Questions regarding busing should be directed to Ann-Marie Geyster at ageyster@nrsd.org.
The school day for Grade K-4 students is 8:30-3:05. Students in Full day Prek-4 will begin at 8:20 and pick up will be at 2:55. (½ Day Prek sessions are 8:30-11:00 am and 12:00-2:30pm).
Included with your child’s teacher welcome letter were directions for parent drop off and pick up as well as two vehicle placards for your vehicles. All families received these on the off chance you need to pick up your child/ren or send someone else to pick up your child/ren. We ask that you write your child’s name on these placards in a dark marker and have them displayed on your vehicle’s dashboard every day during pick up.
