1. Games at School: We wanted to take this opportunity to send out a reminder about toys remaining at home and not being brought to school. Pokemon cards are considered toys and are not allowed in school as well. The reason behind this decision is an increase in “trading” and/or items being lost. We also want to make you aware of a few popular, inappropriate and violent games that are being played by students here as well called Charlie Charlie and Huggy Wuggy. These games are not appropriate for school. Limiting exposure to violent games and shows/cartoons will help in decreasing the amount of physicality that we are seeing at the elementary level. 2. TES PTO: We are excited to announce that we will be holding our first PTO meeting on Tuesday, September 19, 2023@ 6pm in TES Cafeteria. This meeting will also have a virtual option. Here is the ZOOM LINK to access the meeting from home.Video call link: https://meet.google.com/mzm-bgnv-qjc
3. Snack: Please be sure to send your child with a snack daily. We are running very low on our emergency supply in the office. As a reminder, our classrooms are peanut free so please do not send items with peanuts for snack. Thank you for your cooperation.
4. Student & Family Handbooks: If you have not done so already, please CLICK HERE for the Narragansett SchoolBrains Parent Community Portal. This is the portal you will use to review and sign our Student & Family Handbook. The handbook needs to be signed each year.
