First, we would like to send a big THANK YOU to everyone that took the opportunity to attend open houses this year! It was so AMAZING to see so many families! This school year is really off to a great start!
1. RESPECT is our character trait for the month of September. Click Here for a great video that you can use to continue this discussion at home!
2. Picture Day: Lifetouch will be at TES on Tuesday, September 26th for picture day. Order packets will be sent home on September 12th or you can order online with Picture ID# EVTWVSC69.
3. Paperwork: Students brought home paperwork earlier this week. Please be sure to send back those forms as soon as possible. Getting the most up to date information regarding your child is extremely important. Thank you in advance for your cooperation! Please fill out free and reduced lunch forms even if you think you will not qualify because it does affect our funding for next year.
4. Lunch: We wanted to remind everyone that students do now eat breakfast and lunch for free in Massachusetts. However, extra milk, extra lunches or any seconds on food will have to be charged to their accounts. Extra milk is 50 cents and extra lunch is $3.75. Please have a conversation with your child if you do not want them getting any extras.
5. New Phone System: We have a brand new phone system this year. We ask that you please be patient while we figure out some issues that have been brought to our attention. If you receive a call that your child is absent and you have already called (ie: Left Voicemail, Spoke with Office or Nurses, emailed the teacher), please disregard the phone call. As of now, it automatically calls for anyone with an unexcused absence.
Additional reminders: Please do not block driveways during arrival and dismissal. The TES front parking lot and access road are not available during arrival and dismissal, as this creates a safety issue for our buses. Thank you for your cooperation!
