Dear Students & Families:

Congratulations goes out to our Worcester County Superintendents Association Scholar for 2025, Katherine Longmuir!  Katherine was selected for this honor as result of an incredibly strong GPA, excellence in rigorous coursework (numerous AP classes), volunteerism through dozens and dozens of hours of community service through National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, and as a high character student here at NRHS!  Kudos Katherine!  Here is a picture of Katherine with Dr. Casavant at College of the Holy Cross during the luncheon honoring scholars from around Worcester County last Thursday. 

The Little Mermaid Production (April 4, 5, & 6th) is nearly here…this week!  A reminder that tickets are now available for purchase. Warriors, you can get into the act not only by purchasing a ticket to support our performers, but also by dressing as your favorite under the sea character this coming Friday (4/4). To our cast and crew: we wish you a wonderful performance this week!

Spring Conferences: Signups Open Now

Spring Conferences will be held between 11:45 AM and 2:30 PM on April 16th and April 17th.

Reminder: Important Updates to State Testing: MCAS

Thank you to our grade ten parents and students for outstanding attendance and participation in MCAS last week.  We cannot overstate how appreciative we are of our students and families being on time, prepared and positive in respect to MCAS.  Especially in light of changes to testing and a lot of ongoing dialogue regarding MCAS, we appreciate our students and families’ diligence!  Upcoming dates for MCAS by grade are listed below:


Grade 8 ELA MCAS - April 9th & April 10th

Grade 8 STE MCAS - April 29th & April 30th

Grade 8 Civics MCAS - May 1st & May 2nd

Grade 8 Math MCAS - May 6th & May 7th

Grade 10 Math MCAS - May 20th & May 21st

Grade 9 Biology MCAS - June 4th & June 5th

  • Term 3 Closes April 2nd Warriors, keep up the hard work during this uninterrupted stretch of learning! 

  • Attention AP Students. Please mark your May calendars; the AP testing schedule has been released. 

    • Students should plan to take their exams at the dates and times you find here.  

  • Narragansett Theater Guild is proud to present Disney's The Little Mermaid this coming April 4th, 5th, & 6th.  A reminder that tickets will go on sale March 3rd.

  • The Montachusett Vocational Program (MVP) applications for sophomores looking to join the program as juniors on April 4th.  Please direct questions to Ms. Donnelly (kdonnelly@nrsd.org).
