Dear Students & Families:

We hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. We’re leading off our weekly memo this week with a celebration of our Montachusett Vocational Partnership (MVP) Academy students.  This group of founding juniors and seniors are engaged in the first year of a first-in-state, vocational program in which NRHS students gain vocational skills, training, and hours in cohort of students from NRHS and several area schools and academics here at NRHS through an academic course of study.  

Thank you to Ms. Katie Donnelly, History & English Teacher Mr. Eric Supple, and Staff / Coach Ms. Haleigh Medlin and to our students for a successful “lift-off” to this program over the last two weeks!

School Picture Information & Last Call: Senior Portrait Information

All Warriors: Families are advised that school pictures (taken two weeks ago) are ready to order!  To order, login to your account on mylifetouch.com or create an account using your student ID number (numbers on your student’s NRSD email).

  • Note that our picture retake day will be October 15th. 

Seniors: If you haven’t had your Senior portrait photo taken, you should do so on October 10th.  We have emailed all senior students directly who have not had a senior portrait photo taken.  Seniors - if you do not sign up for the 10th or had your portrait taken earlier this year, we will use your school picture ID for the yearbook.  

  • Class of 2025 All Class of ‘25 Aerial Photo - We worked through a trial run of this photo on Friday and we’ll be ready for the official Class of 2025 picture.  Seniors, stay tuned for the release of our aerial Class of 2025 Fall Foliage Class Photo date.  

    • This date will be scheduled on a day with no conflicts, it is important to be in school

    • Additionally we will be important to wear blue and white on this day to stand out on our athletic field and against our New England fall foliage. 

Important Reminders & Events At-A-Glance

  • Walgreens Covid/Flu Vaccine clinic will be held on October 23rd from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Middle School Cafeteria.  We will send out a sign up for the clinic 2-3 weeks in advance of the clinic.  

  • Support Prom/Graduation & Student Safety through GAAP Day.  On September 26th we are having a Restaurant Day at Wendy's in Gardner to Support GAAP Day. If you have a chance stop by, we’ll be appreciative…and tell them you are purchasing for the GAAP Day Fundraiser! 

  • Sign ups / registration for Warrior Elite Basketball is open through September 30th.  Please refer to this flyer for more information

  • Warrior Clubs!  Clubs are listed above, don’t forget to check our Weekly Events calendar at the end of this memo to see what, dates, times, and clubs are available to you!  

  • Junior & Senior Class Meetings.  Students: your Class Officers and Advisors have called for important class meetings to help fundraise and plan outstanding events for you!

    • Class of 2026 (Juniors) will meet September 30th D Block

    • Class of 2025 (Seniors) will meet October 4th, G Block

  • School Advisory Council.  We are still looking for family members/parents to help shape the direction of NRHS and advise administration.  If interested in serving on our School Advisory Council, please email Colby Young (cyoung@nrsd.org).

  • Rho Kappa meets next October 10th in Ms. Charrier’s Room.
