Principal’s Flyer #29: March 17, 2024

Dear Students & Families:

We hope you all are having a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day weekend with some pleasant temperatures and sun.  Last week was a busy one, with our students enjoying a semi-formal dance.  Thank you to Michele Smith, Mary Remillard and our chaperones for making this dance possible.  This dance felt particularly special for many of our students who had not yet attended a major school dance before, much less a formal dance.  Kudos to all students for excellent decorum at the dance, and thanks to our friends at the Gardner Polish American Citizens Club (PACC) for graciously hosting our students at their venue.

Pi Day (3.14.24) also marked the 60th induction ceremony for Narragansett Regional High School’s Chapter of Mu Alpha Theta and its inductees.  We’re grateful to advisor Rebecca Richard as well as our past Mu Alpha Theta advisors and math teachers for welcoming in 2024 members to NRHS Mu Alpha Theta, and we appreciate the good work of current Mu Alpha Theta officers, families, and our guest speaker former NRHS  teacher and principal John Jasinski to make this ceremony a very special occasion.

Looking ahead, we are incredibly excited to track our Nationals Bound Varsity Cheer Team and getting ready to welcome you to our 2024 rendition of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Please find just a few pictures capturing the life and times of ‘Gansett students (and community supporters!), below:
