Principal’s Flyer #20: January 7, 2024

Dear Students & Families:

We hope you’re enjoying the winter wonderland weather we had all been anticipating!  My own seven year old sprinted down the stairs to put on her snowsuit first thing this morning…which was absolutely glorious.  As a reminder, on snowy days and/or other inclement weather that could impact our normal school hours, please stay tuned to your email and phones as well as social media.  Should we have any changes to our normal school hours, we’ll notify our community through our all-call / text system, on social media, and on all major news outlets as quickly as is prudent.

Please remember that we are now in the home stretch of term 2, which means our term will close on Friday, January 19th.  Students and families are reminded that we run late buses on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and all teachers have office hours each week.  Students: now that you’re refreshed after break, make sure to close out semester one (term 2) on a high note!

NRSD Seeks Your Feedback: Parents/Guardians & Community Members

As the Narragansett Regional School District begins to formalize its FY25 budget planning process, we want to hear from you!  We designed this anonymous survey to help our school community share their input with the School Committee and the District Leadership Team to identify areas we can improve to ensure that our community is as educated as it is informed of the budget process.

Please take a few minutes to participate in this quick survey that addresses these two points. All survey participants will be anonymous, and we kindly ask that you only complete the survey once to ensure that we are gathering the most accurate information.
