Principal’s Flyer #5: September 17, 2023
Dear Students & Families:
We hope everyone is enjoying a lovely Sunday with more fall-like evening temperatures we’re all used to this time of year. Thanks to our students, coaches, and families for adjusting to some suddenly very dicey weather early this week, and finishing the week on a high note with the return of Friday Night Lights and a very organized, vocal, and neon student cheering section on Friday night. Given all the weather disruption to athletics events to start the year, please do check out our updated athletics schedule so you can cheer on our student athletes this week. And in case you couldn’t come out this Friday to see our football and cheer teams, please be advised we have another home game this Friday @ 7:00 PM…AND also come out to cheer on our exciting Field Hockey, Soccer, Cross Country, and Golf Teams!

Project 351: September 11th Observance |
Thank you to all of our students for appropriate and respectful observance of September 11th last week. One of our many outstanding Warriors, Kelly Taylor is a highly engaged MA Project 351 alumnus who participated in 9/11 observance and service in Boston last week. In addition to observance, Kelly (front row) was a part of a student leadership group making blankets for service members, creating care packages for homeless and disabled veterans, and writing messages of thanks and love to those serving abroad. Kudos to Kelly for being an outstanding citizen and representing NRHS in state and national service.
NRHS Student Leadership, 2023-2024 School Year |
Now that the 2023-2024 School Year is well underway, we wanted to (re)introduce to everyone our students leaders and make special mention also of our Student School Committee Representative, Peter Stanley (Senior). Peter will be introduced live in School Committee session this coming Thursday night, and will be a fixture in school committee meetings over the course of this year. Students, your student representatives and school council members are listed below.
At-A-Glance Reminders |
Attention all NRHS Parents - All Call for School Advisory Council. If you’re a parent/guardian of an NRHS student and you are interested in helping shape the direction of NRHS by working alongside students and staff to advise administration, then please complete this form!
