Principal’s Flyer #41: June 19, 2023
Dear Warrior Students & Families:
Welcome to our final memo of the 2022-2023 School Year. As a reminder, NRHS will run four full days of school Tuesday through Friday of this week, and we’ll have one half day remaining on Monday, June 26th! This week we are congratulating our History and Civics students on the work and presentations they concluded this past week, taking on topics ranging from food insecurity and treatment of animals, to school lunches and supporting students’ overall health and decision making. Kudos to our students for taking on the work and advocating for their projects, and thanks again to Ms. Remillard, Ms. McLaughlin, Mr. Bell, Ms. Charrier, and Mr. Eiben for supporting civics action project work at NRHS.
Special thanks also goes out this week to our counselors, Ms. Donnelly and Ms. Jasinski, for setting up a college immersion experience for our juniors last Monday. Juniors learned about the college application process, college life, financial information, and related programming from the staff at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Whether NRHS students choose to pursue college or not, these experiences are important to showing students all possible paths open to them and others as they consider life beyond high school. Thanks to our students for representing NRHS well last week in Boston.
As you read this end of year memo, please be sure to scroll down to find information about our Almost Summer Spirit Days, Comedy Night, 8th Grade Field Trip, and other important information regarding events we have to close out the year! A Note from NRHS: Thank You! |
While we do anticipate interacting with many students and families during this final stretch of the school year, we’d like to take a moment to say thank you. Whether we connect with you at drop off or dismissal, via email or phone, or at a related school or community event…we’d like to also say thank you for your support of our school and students over the course of this school year. Family presence at events, athletics, performances, conferences, fundraisers, and in so many capacities is both always noticed and appreciated. As we often say but mean in all sincerity: thank you for the privilege of working with your children. We never take for granted the opportunity to work with such outstanding young people. Have a wonderful summer Warriors!
