📣 MCAS Continues with Math in May!

Please note the dates for MCAS testing and avoid unnecessary absences whenever possible. Make up testing will be completed during the last week of the testing window, and participation is state-mandated.

MCASStudents will also need to ensure that their Chromebooks are being fully charged at night so they can complete testing. Please help organize students for success!

image.pngComfort Zone Camp is an impactful opportunity for students in our school community who may be coping with the loss of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or other significant person.
Comfort Zone Camp (CZC) offers a free weekend bereavement camp for children and teens ages 7–17. Their mission is to help grieving kids feel less alone by providing a safe and fun environment where they can connect with others who “get it.”

They are currently enrolling for our upcoming Massachusetts program:
When: September 26–28, 2025
Where: Camp Ramah, Palmer, MA
Who: Children and teens (ages 7–17) who have experienced the death of a loved one
Cost: Completely FREE to families
Comfort Zone Camp combines traditional camp activities with age-based grief support groups led by trained professionals and volunteers. Campers build resilience, make lasting connections, and experience joy in a safe and supportive space.

head😃 Get involved! Join a Club or Activity!

NMS offers several ways for students to get involved beyond the school day. Students should listen for morning announcements, read The Friday Memo, and watch the lobby whiteboard and monitor for announcements regarding club start dates, directions for joining, and when the club runs. Clubs meet right after school and end in time to catch the late bus!
