| What's New This Week! |
On Wednesday, April 26th, NMS students and staff gathered in the auditorium to celebrate our latest Students of the Month! These 9 students, selected by staff members, are chosen because they exemplify the core values of Be Nice, Work Hard, No Excuses, Good Choices, which have been the foundation of a successful year in learning about positive decision making through our Shared Expectations work. Congratulations to (back row, left to right) Eli Blakely, Micah Lorion, Gianna Duval, Richard Smith, Keegan O'Malley; (front row, left to right) Savannah Orcutt, Anastasia Croteau, Hala Caruso, and Vayla Ogden. Look for the next Students of the Month to be highlighted in mid-May!
🥳 Intramural Wiffle ball/Kickball started this week! Intramurals will run Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until June 8. Students should be sure to check the late bus routes and know where they will be getting off before staying after!

🚫 Please remember that students are not permitted to use their cell phone at school. If you need to contact your student in an emergency, please contact the main office and we will relay the message. Students who are using their devices will receive a tech violation write up, and depending on how many they have accrued, may be subject to disciplinary action.
💻 MCAS math testing is underway and we will finally conclude all sessions on May 16! Please be especially mindful of unnecessary absences during these last weeks, as the windows assigned by the state are limited in what make up time we have. All of our MCAS dates can be found in our School Events listings on our webpage.
