Please find, attached, the associated press release for our upcoming Middle School High School Memorial Day Observance on Friday, May 26th. Special thank you to community member and retired Music Director Mr. Stephen Babineau and the Baldwinville American Legion Post for their respective, years-long, dedication to our observance of Memorial Day.
Due to a bus issue Tahanto will be late. Game time for Varsity Softball and Baseball is now 4:45-5:00 first pitch. MS games remain 4:00 starts
Narragansett has a full day of sports. Varsity Baseball and Softball are hosting Tahanto and MS Baseball and Softball will be hosting Bromfield. All home games today are scheduled for 4:00 starts.
Also, MS track will be traveling to Overlook today and Unified track will have their first meet at Quabbin today. Hope to see you there!
MS Fall Football registrations will open up next week. Please register your athletes as soon as possible so that we can get an accurate count of interested players. MS Football is open to students in grades 6-8.

Congratulations to Ann Lyons, who earned a grant today to help support our Prom Safety Day (May 8th), which is a collaboration between the District Attorney's Office, Templeton PD, Templeton Fire, and NRSD. Students will work through interactive stations aimed at promoting safety and awareness during a celebratory graduation season.
Here's a picture of Ms. Lyons accepting the mini grant on behalf of NRSD alongside District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. and Templeton Police Chief Michael Bennett. Big thanks to our Senior Class Advisors, Fire and Police Departments for safeguarding NRSD students.
Today's MS baseball game vs A/S will be played at the HS field. It has been moved from Gilman Waite. First pitch is 4:00.
Due to Littleton field conditions, Today's varsity baseball game has been moved to a home game here at Narragansett HS field. The JV game has been moved to Gilman Waite.
Varsity softball will still be traveling to Littleton MS for their regularly scheduled away game. All games will start at 4:00.
Just got notified at 3:30 that Bromfield JV baseball can not play today. We will try to reschedule the game. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Celebratory day for NRHS Warrior students!
Congratulations to the 50+ chess players who competed in our Chess Tournament on Thursday. Your winners pictured right to left are: Aidan Liang (3rd), Quinn Wiedle (2nd), and Anthony D'Angelo (1st) with Dr. John Worden, chess club co-advisor. Thanks all competitors, and to Dr.'s Conley and Worden for making this tournament happen.
Congrats also to Ms. Richard's Math students, who competed in the Elizabeth Haskins Math competition TODAY at Fitchburg State University. Special congratulations to Jacob Pervier (3rd place), and Katherine Longmuir (2nd place) for grade 10 students!

Due to an emergency situation at Tahanto High School today's varsity track meet has been postponed. Narragansett Warriors track team never left the school and were at no time involved in any portion of the incident at Tahanto. We have rescheduled the track meet for May 1st.
